Mordred Lies Dying
Mordred Lies Dying On The Barren Land Of Camlann
He Has Given His Sword To The Lungs Of The King
And Now In Turn He Must Die
With Eyes Upturned Toward The Sky
He Sees His Mothers’ Face And Down Her Tears Flow In The Likeness Of Rain
“Skyward Beyond The Clouds There Is A Holy, Consecrated House.
And Within Dwells The Highest God And To Him, I Cast My Soul.
Now, Come The Day When All Must Go To Their Last And Eternal Home.
With Wings Of Light Or Fangs Of Fire.
But For Now I Have Breath In These Lungs Of Sin, That Cursed The Lives Of
Gods’ True Sons.
Rebuked Shall He Be Who Scorns With Gluttony
And Partakes In The Fruits Of The Lords’ Servants.”
What Mirth Is Found In The Sword?
What Peace Is Found In War?
What Joy Is Found In Blood?
What Life Is Found In Death?
Like Father, Like Son
HERE LIES SIR MORDRED
