Accidents happen

“It's only inevitable that she would die

I mean-

How could she not?

Girls die, that's only natural.

She was just a girl

And she died

What’s there to look into?”

He tells me, like it's a fact

I wonder why he’s so adamant about not getting the autopsy.

Why he calls her a girl and not a woman.

She had an apartment

A flat in the rough part of the city

And enough common sense

To not

Fall onto a knife.

Why does he refuse to watch true crime unless the victim is a man?

Do women not get killed too?

Or

perhaps

It is guilt.

Just another way to feel sorry for himself, because it

Wasn't his fault that he stuck that knife in her

It was only natural

And who could blame Him?

The court

Thinks that it's perfectly reasonable

That it happened

Because

She was just clumsy

And accidentally stabbed herself

57 times.

He only ended her misery

It was mercy

She would thank him if she were still alive.

I don't think that I would if I were her

But

The courts disagree;

And she was just a woman.
