I hate to say i'm afraid

That one day I'll wake up

And no longer feel pain

It's not like I want to

I don't want to lack emotions 

Feeling numb to a world

That warmed you

I hate to think about the day I won't be here

In this bitter

Pity filled world

I hate to think about the fact that one day I won't hear the sounds I thought I hate

I won't see the ugly in this world

Because even though I'm pessimistic 

I still love the place I've grown

I still love the people and creatures I've learned from
